Andy Goodwin
Andy mostly works in acrylics and collage, preferring landscapes or seascapes as subjects. His work has been included in group and individual shows in the South West and the West Midlands, being selected for the RWA Open (Bristol)on a number of occasions.
Founder member of the Montpellier Group of Artists who exhibited in the Cotswolds, Andy's work continues to be inspired by English and Welsh landscape and coast, exploring and interpreting colour, shape and structure."
Each piece of work develops from observation of landscape or seascape. Hills, harbours and coast are of particular interest and are significant muses. Changing cloud and light are often components of the works inspiration, showing the permanence and constant change which can influence the final representation of a created world where land, sea and sky surprise us with strength, delicacy and unexpected colour and form.

I combine drawings and stitches on paper, which record and respond to the essence of my chosen environment. The work I produce is quiet but with an inner energy that engages and draws the viewer in, to notice things that may have been overlooked.

Christina Bingle
I gained a degree in Fine Art in 1982 but I have been painting all my life. I paint still life and landscape and occasional portraits. I am intrigued by light and colour, and the beautiful complexities of oil paint. Still life happens in my studio, landscapes are painted out in the field. I am a member of the prestigious Cheltenham Group of Artists, and I exhibit in group and solo shows locally and around the country. I have work in private and public collections across the UK.

A self taught artist, I have always been influenced by abstract art and consistently find myself exploring colour and form in interesting ways.
Louise Millin Inchley
‘Milli' works from her studio in Cheltenham, The Cotswolds, UK.
" My preferred mediums are acrylic, gouache and oil. The focus of my art is interior paintings, room portraits and architecture. I take inspiration from my local surroundings of Cheltenham and the glamour of The French Riviera as well as other cities and destinations from my travels. I love merging my experience and interest in interior design with my passion for painting.
After graduating from Cheltenham Art College I worked as a draughts person and interior designer for architects at home and Singapore. It was upon my return from Singapore that I concentrated more on painting. I am an elected member of the Society of Architectural Illustrators (SAI) and the Cheltenham Group of Artists. My work can be found in private collections in the UK, France, United States, Canada and Australia."

Molly Abbott
I make sculptural, decorative and functional pieces for the domestic environment. The pieces are bold, colourful and tactile.
My first love is hand building, as it offers so many opportunities to explore different forms and surfaces. Recently I have started to mix in some thrown forms which are altered and joined. Landscapes, seascapes and the elements have always been my starting points, although now I am beginning to reference architecture too, as my work moves towards a more sculptural feel. The ideas come together with my other loves – colour, texture and pattern. I use white/cream earthenware clays and create textured surfaces, which are enhanced with swathes of colour. Blues, greens and turquoises are favourites, with the occasional contrast of a yellow or lime green. A silken transparent glaze or a translucent matt glaze brings each surface to life in the kiln.

Nieves Beguiristain
Nieves Beguiristain was born and trained as a painter on the Spanish side of the Basque Country. She taught art at a secondary school before moving to London where she read Philosophy and Aesthetics. After some years of academic, work she now lives and paints in Cheltenham.
Her painting is rooted in reality but the message is purely pictorial. Subject matter may be of secondary importance, an element of anchorage for the balancing of shapes and colours. The importance given to the figurative element thus competes with that given to the handling of paint. The visible world adds a realistic element and permits the making of marks related to things other than themselves.

Paul Aston
Paul McKee
I am a painter and I trained at Liverpool School of Art and University College London. I am also a teacher and a professional curator of Fine Art.
I have exhibited regularly since the 1970s and I have work in private collections, at home and abroad and in permanent collections in the UK. I have created collections of work inspired by myths and stories, alongside nudes and still-lives and in recent years landscapes and seascapes have become dominant themes. These have been inspired by Gloucestershire, the rugged coastline of the West Country and time spent at sea and in foreign climes.
Paintings in oils and watercolour, collages and drawing in ink, charcoal and crayon are expressive interpretations of experiences, feelings and memories. The joy of mark making and elements of chance lead to distinctive and unusual images.
Anna Saunders, Director of Cheltenham Poetry Festival said:
Working in the tradition of British romantic landscape painting and energised by a fresh perspec-tive, McKee’s haunting, and memory-infused, work is invested with an abstract twist – making the paintings suggestive, dream-like and full of poetry.

I am an artist who is inspired by the landscape which I interpret in many different ways depending on mood and context and what feels important. I travel a lot and am interested in maps, geology and extreme environments.
I work figuratively and in a semi abstract way always trying to keep in touch with my original inspiration.

Suzanne Nichol
Hailing from Wales and living in Worcestershire I am inspired by our tangled hedgerows, rolling hills and breathtaking coastlines. My work features the natural and human influences upon our magnificent landscapes.
I develop many of my pieces from plein air sketches, aiming to encapsulate the time and place in layers of colour, texture and mark making. My work is a personal expression of the landscape, its energy and my connection to it.
