I studied for my BA hons degree in fine art painting at the University of Gloucester and graduated in 2002 and in 2004 took a PG cert in painting, deciding against the MA owing to work commitments. I belong to Stuckism International and recently took part in their show at the Lioverpool View Two Gallery, also in 2007 at the AGallery Wimbledon; I have taken part in many group shows, and have aslo had solo exhibitions locally,

I work in mixed medium, keeping the work open and abstract, having a life of its own, and there is a lot of editing. I make hybrid forms reminiscent of every day objects, plants, jewellery, clothing etc. My work is usually very colourful, decorative (!) with little sinister bits like pins and dark areas, I think of this as inner landscape. I want my painting to be aesthetic and lyrical.
